For many, setting this up seems like a technology nightmare filled with endless days of writing emails.  The reality is that setting this up and letting it run is incredibly easy.  The biggest hurdles with getting your own Perpetual 20 email campaign up and running are procrastination and boredom.

Before we get started let’s clear up one thing about email lists.  The lists must be your own or belong to someone that has generated the list themselves.

Forget about the safelists or the offers to mail your message to a gazillion recipients.

2.  Squeeze page! I recommend that you put these on your own server.  The squeeze page is a short description of the give-away ebook or report you are offering with an opt-in form so they can input their name and email address.  When they submit this they get put on your autoresponder list.

3.    Give-away ebook, report or video training series.  The ebook works well for this and is fairly easy to deliver.  The ebook or other giveaway should provide value so the client sees that you are knowledgeable about the subject and will want to hear from you again.

Most often, our upline tells us to simply contact every person we have ever met and approach them with our offers.  For some, this works.  Most of us would rather find another approach to build our business.

The next suggestion we may be likely to receive will be for various forms of advertising such as..

2) postcard mailings

4) and so on…

Now What?

Most people, unfortunately, do nothing.  Face it, if a person has little or no business experience it can be overwhelming to develop a personalized presentation, arrange marketing materials such as business cards and stationery and actually go out and contact people about their products.

For a seasoned business person it takes actual work.  Beginners need much more than a starter kit and the advice to “make a list of all of your relatives and friends” to present to. Don’t do that by the way ( contact your friends and relatives).

If you are recruiting and sponsoring people into your business you owe it to them (and yourself) to make sure they have good training.  This means going way beyond the “friends and family” advice.

The go-getter type is the one that will actually go out and contact people to sell their opportunity – even without none or with very little of your input.  They don’t need you.

Concentrate your training efforts on the beginners or those that have been burned by their previous experiences. Provide a standardized training and resource package that will help them get the tools in place they will need to succeed.
